The original kitchen was a series of smaller rooms. The interior walls were removed and a new steel beam was set in the ceiling, to open the space. It is now, one well lit, airy kitchen. There is plenty of storage and plenty of counter space to support the preparation, cooking and serving for family dinners, holidays and parties. Behind the closet doors by the back door, is the washer and dryer. The edge of the island extends over the bar stools opposite the sink.
